Nautilus Chain mainnet goes live, Zepoch holders to receive third round of POSE airdrop
Currently, the Nautilus Chain mainnet has completed its soft launch and all deployment work is proceeding as scheduled. After thorough infrastructure testing, RPC information will be made available to users to ensure the security of assets and trading experience on the Nautilus Chain.
With the launch of the mainnet, Nautilus Chain’s earlier promises (Horizon Plan) are being fulfilled one by one.
Currently, as the first DEX on Nautilus Chain, PoseiSwap has taken the lead in responding to Nautilus Chain’s airdrop plan. PoseiSwap’s early plan was divided into three phases for airdropping to Zepoch node holders, with a total of 100 million POSE coins, and the airdrop proportion to nodes was 7%, which is 7 million coins, distributed in three phases. The first phase was 1.4%, or 1.4 million coins, the second phase was 2.1%, or 2.1 million coins, and the third phase was 3.5%, or 3.5 million coins. Currently, the first two phases of the airdrop have been completed, and the snapshot for the third phase has been taken and will be launched soon.
Regarding the rules of the third round POSE airdrop:
In the previous second round of airdrop, 25% of the airdrop rewards were given to old nodes (Zepoch ID number less than 3011), and the remaining 75% were given to new nodes with ID numbers greater than 3011. At the same time, Zepoch node holders needed to participate in interactions on PoseiSwap (trading or becoming LP) to help PoseiSwap with its early launch. The third round airdrop is different and more oriented towards new Zepoch nodes, with rewards only given to Zepoch node holders with ID numbers greater than 3532. The snapshot for this round of airdrop was taken on July 20th at 12:00 pm (UTC+8). The amount of POSE tokens for the third round airdrop is 3.5 million, and distribution will cease after it has been fully distributed.
Similar to the second round airdrop, the amount of POSE tokens distributed to Zepoch nodes in this round is based on the number of nodes held by the holder. The more Zepoch nodes held, the greater the airdrop reward. The value of the airdrop ranges from 50% to 250% of the cost of purchasing the nodes.
The specific rules are as follows:
Addresses holding 1–4 nodes will receive 50% of the cost of new Zepoch nodes in POSE form. For example, if the price of Zepochs at the time of airdrop is $3,000, the wallet will receive an airdrop of POSE tokens worth $1,500.
Addresses holding 5–14 nodes will receive 100% of the cost of new Zepoch nodes.
Addresses holding 15–29 nodes will receive 150% of the cost of new Zepoch nodes.
Addresses holding 30–49 nodes will receive 200% of the cost of new Zepoch nodes.
Addresses holding 50 or more Zepochs will receive 250% of the cost of new Zepoch nodes.
For this airdrop, the price of $POSE will be calculated at 2 USD. For example, if the price of a new Zepoch node is $4,000, someone who owns 7 Zepochs is entitled to a 100% airdrop, and will receive 2000 POSE tokens.
Through the three rounds of airdrops, we can see that almost all Zepoch nodes will be able to offset the cost of purchasing the nodes, and some early buyers with lower costs have already achieved significant profits from the airdrops on PoseiSwap alone.
Long-term Airdrop Expectations for Nautilus Chain
Currently, as the Nautilus Chain mainnet undergoes a soft launch, there are already 30 projects set to launch on the mainnet, which will bring early airdrop expectations for Zepoch node holders in the long term. In fact, according to the airdrop distribution rules of PoseiSwap, users who hold both old and new nodes become the best beneficiaries and offset their costs in a single airdrop round. As more and more projects go live on the Nautilus Chain mainnet, Zepoch node holders will continue to benefit.
The total number of Zepoch nodes is only 30,000, with over 3,500 sold during the initial launch of the Nautilus Chain. As the ecosystem accelerates, the rate of Zepoch sales will also increase.
