That’s why, as a part of our initial dex offering, we’re not only distributing tokens but also exclusive, gamified NFT cards from Poseidon’s own treasure chests. The best part: these cards will give you more POSE tokens than they cost, earning you anywhere between a 120% — 200% return. Some lucky people will open a chest with a card that earns them a 1000% return!
And that’s not all. Even after you’ve collected your APY rewards from these cards, holding them will boost your mining rewards when you stake POSE and provide liquidity.
Purchasing a Poseidon Treasure Chest
Each Treasure Chest costs 100 POSE and can be purchased directly through poseiswap.xyz. Upon purchasing a chest, a Treasure Card NFT will be revealed to you. These NFT cards belong to one of four tiers, and within each tier, different cards have different rarities. The tiers are:
- Sea Creature (120% return)
- Mythic (140% return)
- Demi-god (160% return)
- gods (200% return)
If you get the Poseidon card, you instantly earn 1000% APY! See more details below on the tiers and card types in the Odds Table.
Each rarity group contains 4 different NFT cards, and collecting all the cards within a group will result in a bonus multiplier. For example, if you collect all the Demi-god cards, you’ll earn 160 POSE for each card, times 4 cards equaling 640 POSE. Adding your 50% bonus gives you 960 POSE in total!
Poseidon’s Marketplace
Buying and opening Treasure Chests helps you collect cards, but what if you’re struggling to complete a set within a tier? You can always buy the cards you need, or sell the ones you don’t, from other PoseiSwap community members.
Because of the ongoing rewards that completed sets will provide to POSE miners, these NFTs may sell for even more than they can immediately earn. Decide for yourself if you prefer the instant rewards from selling your cards in the marketplace or to hodl them for long-term value.
Note: There is a 20 POSE fee to activate NFT staking per group. Each activation allows staking for up to four non-duplicate cards of the same group.
